Yearbook orders are still being accepted until sold out.

There is a limited amount of yearbooks and Shout-out ads still available for pre-sale.  To purchase a yearbook or Shout-out ad, please visit the Balfour website at:  https://www.balfour.com/pennsylvania/lehighton/lehighton-middle-school.

The deadline to order a Shout-out is Friday, April 17th, but yearbooks are available for purchase until they are sold out.

Should you have any questions, please contact Mrs. Lusch at klusch@lehighton.org or Mrs. Smith at asmith@lehighton.org.

There will not be any extra yearbooks at the end of the school year so if your student is interested in a yearbook, please make sure you pre-order one.

 

LAMS PTO Meeting

The next PTO Meeting will be held on Thursday, April 16th at 7:00pm in the Middle School Cafeteria/Foyer.

PSSA and Keystone Dates

PSSA and Keystone Exams will be held on the following days:

  • April 20 through April 22 -- PSSA ELA (all grades)
  • April 27 and 28 -- PSSA Math (all grades)
  • April 29 and April 30 -- PSSA Science (8th grade only)
  •  
  • May 18 & 19 -- Keystone Exams (Algebra students only)

We ask that you please make every attempt to avoid scheduling appointments for your student these days.

For the 2nd year in a row, PSSA testing will all be done online.  Please know that students must keep their school-issued device at the school starting April 17th until PSSA testing is finished.  If your student has their charger at home, they must bring it to school so their device stays charged.

SNOW MAKE-UP DAYS

Due to all the snow and icy weather we have experienced this Winter Season, the following are the scheduled Snow Make-up days.  School will be in session these days.

  • February 13 (Friday)
  • April 2 (Thursday) -- please know that April 1 will now be a full day, and April 2 will be the Early Dismissal day
  • May 22 (Friday)
  • June 10 (Wednesday)
  • June 11 (Thursday)
  • June 12 (Friday)

 

Club Days

Club Days for the 2025/2026 school year will be held as follows:

  • September 26
  • October 10
  • November 14
  • March 27
  • April 10
  • May 8

This is held during the regular school day, however we follow the 2025-2026.Club.Schedule

Request for schedule changes

Please be advised that not all requests for schedule changes will be honored due to the complex nature of the scheduling procedure.  Certain grade level courses are required curriculum and may not be exempt from a student schedule.  We appreciate your consideration in providing an excellent academic learning environment for all students.
