LAMS is teaming up with the Lehighton Borough Police Department for their 6th Annual OPERATION GIVE A GOBBLER.  The Homeroom that collects the most non-perishable food items and/or monetary donations will win a pizza party with some of the Lehighton Borough Police Department Officers.  Collection will run from November 10-14.

It’s almost incomprehensible that winter is right around the corner. But ready or not, here it comes!  You can prepare yourself a bit more for the wintry weather and the interruptions it causes to school by signing up for text messages when school is closed, delayed, or dismissing early.

To sign up, text the letter "Y" to 67587.

(If you are currently receiving texts from LASD, there is no need to do anything more.)

The Student Advisory Council will be hosting a Dodgeball Tournament on Thursday, November 13th from 3:00-6:00pm.

LAMS students who are participating in this event must do the following:

  1. Form a team of 5-6 students ("Singles" are welcome and we will pick your team)
  2. Choose a team captain and email Mrs. Sharrow the team roster at ysharrow@lehighton.org
  3. Pick up a permission slip (located in a folder outside Mrs. Sharrow's room D-201).
  4. All permission slips with team's money are due to Mrs. Sharrow no later than Monday, November 10th.  (If your student is entering as a "single", just turn in the permission form and money as the team will be picked for your student.)
  5. Entrance fee is $5.00/person.

The night of the tournament, water will be available for all players.  Snacks and soda will be available for purchase.

If students have any questions, they are to see a Student Council representative in their grade.

The LAMS "Fall Revue" is on Friday, November 21st, at 7:00pm in the Middle School Auditorium. Doors open at 6:30pm. 

The "Fall Revue" will feature a variety of skits, monologues, and songs featuring our awesome Drama Club students.  The skits include Rumplestilskin, Robin Hood Rap, and a new play written by our own students called Mean Girls Vs. Heathers: A Vicious Vendetta.  They will also be singing and dancing to It's a Hard Knock Life from Annie and This Is Me from The Greatest Showman.

Admission is free, with a suggested donation of $5.  There will be concessions and candy grams for sale.  Plus, there will also be a special performance from the Middle School Show Choir.  We hope to see you there!
